Another Pink Year
It's only been three months since I've updated my journal. Yay!
Like last year, I entered `JunkbyJen (https://www.deviantart.com/junkbyjen)'s Think Pink V contest.
This summer I've been keeping busy with hockey (which I'm actually watching right now. Go Pens!) and traveling that I only found the information the day before entries were due.
Thankfully I was able to write up four entries and enter them in on the 3rd.
Hell, I was even able to write that one piece I wanted to write from last year.

(I'm a little late with this update; I apologize.)
Ribbon Syncopation surprisingly took first place in the literature category this year!
A Mad World
So it's been five months since I've updated.
I've finally gotten around to updating,
thanks to the Vancouver Winter Olypmics and
a constant flow of music.
(...:cough:)
That shot of inspiration last month is something I really needed,
and it produced my update.
Congratulations: let's end this the right way is the latest update.
Hopefully you'll enjoy the piece and find some meaning in it to you personally.
(I think I wrote it after watching a fail on short track... if that means anything?)
I also have another piece as a precaution against another writer's block,
just so I don't bore you.
Until then I'll be keeping it for myself.

Quick Update!
So it's been two months since I've touched this thing.
This past week I got up my three literature entries for the contest
Think Pink IV.
I was meaning to write a fourth entry in my spare time (but I was not obviously able to)
with a different take on breast cancer than my other three--
it was going to concern a male with breast cancer.
When I get more time next month I'll write it and post it here.

UPDATE:
I Don't Wear Pink placed first in the literature category!
I'm really proud and shocked. I can't express how happy I am to have had the opportunity to enter and place-- let alone place fir

Oh my...
So I've entered my first contest
with a literature piece.

Okay, so
romantic-revenge (https://www.deviantart.com/romantic-revenge)
is pretty much the muse for that work.
I'm really pleased with this piece,
having "As I sit beneath this tree, theres something in the air that makes me believe that you are sitting next to me."
been the first line of inspiration that sparked the story.
So "pleased" is an understatement.
I love that piece a lot.
That means plagiarism/stealing/copying/etc. will spark me to use my full rights.
I'm not going to have that piece stolen from me, it's kind of personal
